Special Dining Events

Throughout the year, a variety of special themed events are staged at the historic dining taverns every weekend (and several times during the week in peak seasons). Offerings may include:

  • Chef’s Table (multicourse meal and conversation with one of the historic dining tavern chefs, including discussions of how the meals are prepared)
  • Dinner with a founding father—Thomas Jefferson, Patrick, Henry, George Washington
  • Breakfast with Citizens of the Revolution (buffet and conversation with character interpreter from our Revolutionary City® program)
  • Mr. Shields’s Feast (seasonal, three-course, family-style feast)
